This new holiday was created by the wonderful folks at “Serious Eats”. They created it in 2018. Seriously, we are glad that they did.

Almost all food-related holidays and special days are referred to as “National”. I guess we Americans like our food…and it shows.

Despite our extensive research, we did not find any documentation confirming this to be a thru “National” day. We found no congressional records or presidential proclamation. This was not surprising. National Meatloaf Appreciation Day is a very new holiday and to date has received little recognition to date.
