Taco Dip Recipe

We make this Taco Dip a few times a year. It is popular year round. We serve it at New Years and Fourth of July parties. It is put together quickly. And, it disappears quickly.

Taco Dip Ingredients:

• 8 ounce block of cream cheese, softened

• 16 ounces sour cream

• 8 ounce bottle of taco sauce

• 8 ounce package shredded taco cheese (or cheddar cheese)

• 1 can sliced black olives

• shredded lettuce

• 1 -2 chopped tomatoes

• Jalapenos, optional

How to make Taco Dip:

1. In a bowl, blend softened cream cheese and sour cream.

2. Add 1/2 bottle taco sauce and mix.

3. Spread mixture onto a large platter.

4. Layer on the remaining ingredients.

5. Top with remaining taco sauce.

6. Put in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

7. Serve with taco chips.
