History and Origin of National Trivia Day

Robert L. Birch, Grand Pun Scorpion of the Puns Corps created this day to raise our awareness of the significance of trivia in the development of human curiosity, science, and fun.

During our original research in the early 2000s, this was called Trivia Day. In recent years, a few internet sites have referred to this say as National Trivia Day. We did not find any documentation confirming this to be a “National” day. We found no congressional records or presidential proclamation.
