Feast of the Annunciation

When is the Feast of the Annunciation? This holiday is always observed on March 25.

On this day, nine months before the birth of Jesus on Christmas morning, we celebrate the incarnation of our savior, Jesus Christ. The Archangel Gabriel came to Mary of Nazareth and told her she was to bear the Son of God, Jesus Christ. This event is called the Feast of the Annunciation.

Today's Quote

“There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness.” – – Dalai Lama
